Heaps of PCs - Terms & Conditions
Sale Items: all new items are sold with Manufacturers Warranty (12 Months standard). Heaps of PCs takes responsibility for the warranty – return and replacement are handled by Heaps of PCs from the shop. All Systems and large peripherals include 30 days personal support. 2nd user items carry a 90 day guarantee unless otherwise stated. This is in addition to your statutory rights.
Repairs/Service: Set charge of £50 plus parts - duration of job is dependent on work required and cannot be guaranteed – once started, we aim to complete any job within 48 hours (excluding time taken to obtain spare parts). Jobs up to £60 will be completed without notice, otherwise a quote will be supplied
Standard – Subject to waiting list – started within 10 working days (after which booking will only be accepted with express agreement from the customer)
Premium – Next available work slot (after completion of work already started) – started within 1 working day
Emergency – Other work will be stopped to enable this – started same day/within 1 hour
Visits: charged per half-hour
Internet Service Provision: as per the terms and conditions of the ISP Contract, personal telephone/email support provided by Heaps of PCs from the shop (i.e. face to face support & local rate calls). We aim to resolve issues within 48 hours (excluding those caused by other agencies e.g. BT).
Internet Café: the internet facilities shall not be used for the purposes of pornography, aggression, bullying or any form of criminal activity.
Returns: refunds will only be given on faulty goods, goods that have been misdescribed or goods which are unfit for purpose (including any purpose made known). We reserve the right to test faulty goods before issuing a refund. We will endeavour to test the goods within 48 hours (although this may not always be possible) and the customer is welcome to be present at the test. If a product is found to be unsuitable by the client, an exchange or credit will be offered. Exchanges and credits are subject to the goods being returned in saleable condition (including undamaged packaging, driver disk, cables etc.). Opened items may be exchanged at the Manager’s discretion.
NOTE: Repairs up to £60 will be carried out without notice except for NO FIX NO FEE
